Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from families considering Lambeth Care.
Enrollment, hours, and care
What ages do you accept?
Lambeth Care serves children from 6 weeks through 5 years of age.
What is the staff-to-child ratio?
We keep group sizes small and operate under Maryland state licensing requirements. We cover staffing ratios and supervision during the center visit.
What does a typical day look like?
We focus on reliable care, age-appropriate activities, predictable routines, and outdoor time. We walk you through what the day looks like for your child's age group during the center visit.
How do I enroll?
Start with the inquiry form on our Contact page. We schedule a visit so you can see the program in action, meet the director, and ask questions. Enrollment decisions are made after the visit.
What are your hours?
Lambeth Care is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Drop-off and pickup are available at any hour.
How does overnight care work?
Children arriving for overnight hours follow a calm evening routine with quieter activities, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and caring staff on hand through the night. Drop-off and pickup are available at any hour, and staff provide a morning report.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Lambeth Care is a licensed child care program in the state of Maryland. Our license number is available on request.
Do you accept siblings?
Yes. We encourage sibling enrollment and will do our best to coordinate scheduling and room placement for families with more than one child.
Who is on staff overnight?
Lambeth Care maintains qualified, supervised staffing 24 hours a day. We walk through overnight staffing arrangements and safety procedures during the center visit.
What does drop-off and pickup look like at non-standard hours?
Drop-off and pickup work the same at 2am as they do at 9am — staff are present, the building is secure, and your child is signed in and out with the same procedure regardless of hour.
